In country’s like India where municipality water is usually untreated and a large section of the population also depend on ground water, the issue with hard water scaling is common. Hard water scaling is basically deposit of all the salts, minerals and other chemicals that are left behind when the water evaporates. Water with high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) i.e. above 500 ppm tends to do more harm.
Though treating of water at source or at the outlet are possibilities, they aren’t currently feasible and are left with no option than to go about the process of de-scaling. Descaling is the removal of such scales by the use of either machine or chemicals solutions that are specially formulated to deal with scales. Machines in most cases cannot get into the nook and cranny where water reaches. Chemical solution on the other hand can penetrate and spread more easily to give you effective results.
